These are skills that are essential not just for survival in prison -- they are critical attributes of successful entrepreneurs! ReStartup Academy is not your typical entrepreneurship program. Its mission it to transform prisons into incubators for entrepreneurship. Students learn how to form a team around a viable solution to a real problem in a scalable way. These courses teach how to efficiently deliver a message to excited customers and outpace the competition. Participants are challenged on a journey to put their knowledge, passion, and teamwork forward to help build their idea from the ground up. |
101The Start-up VentureThe Start-up Venture will provide an overview of the new venture creation process from a small business to a startup. Participants will be introduced to the idea of a Startup Flywheel, and explore the power of 3 Is (Imagination, Ideation, Integration) and the importance of 4Ts (Timing, Team, Traction & Technology) to create a successful business after incarceration.
